MTDR40 Double Magnetic Transfer Rod
extends the standard MTR40 magnetic transfer rod with an additional internal axis
Description
The MTDR40 Co-Axial Magnetic Double Transfer Rod extends the standard MTR40 magnetic transfer rod with an additional internal axis which can be shifted with respect to the standard rod. It therby allows for use of e.g. gripper tools which need an additional internal motion for actuation. The MTDR40 can be nuild with customized length and is fully bakeable up to 140°C.
The whole setup can be used in vacuum environments with base pressures better then 1×10-10 mbar.
The use of high power magnets ensures a strong coupling between the outer slider and the moving transfer rod for both, linear translation and continuous rotation. The MTR40 offers precise control of the whole transfer process.
For longer transfer lengths, individual support rods can be provided.
