MTR40 Magnetic Transfer Rod
for easy and reliable sample transfer under UHV conditions
Description
The MTR40 Magnetic Transfer Rod is designed for easy and reliable sample transfer under UHV conditions and can be equipped with different types of sample grippers, e.g. for flag style or OmniVac sample holders. All magnets can are fully bakeable up to 140°C.
The whole setup can be used in vacuum environments with base pressures better then 1×10-10 mbar.
The use of high power magnets ensures a strong coupling between the outer slider and the moving transfer rod for both, linear translation and continuous rotation. The MTR40 offers precise control of the whole transfer process.
For longer transfer lengths, individual support rods can be provided.
