SHR40HC Heating/Cooling Flagstyle Sample Receiving Station
Sample receiving station for flag style sample holders, configurable for various heating and cooling options.
Description
The SHR 40 HC stage is a medium size cooling/heating station for flag style sample holder (Omicron/Specs type). Indirect resistive heating allows for reaching sample temperatures up to 800°C with heating rates of 5 K/s. Other heating options like electron beam heating, BN heaters or Laser heating are available.
Cooling contact between sample stage and liquid nitrogen reservoir can be switched on/off pneumaticcally.
The temperature can be monitored either on the sample holder via spring contacts or directly on the sample if special sample holders with adjustable thermocouple contacts are used.
For drain/sample current measurements, the whole sample station can be mounted islolated from system ground and wired e.g. to a BNC feedthrough.
